Death
Scott Douglas Payne went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April
10, 2002 in Owen Sound, Ontario. He was born on December 19, 1933 in
Toronto, Ontario. He is survived by his wife Ola (Fangrad) and son Mark
and daughter Mary Ellen. Pre-deceased by son Gordon (1992) and daughter
Elizabeth (2001). He was a much loved husband, father, grandfather and
friend and will be missed by all.
The funeral is expected to take place, Saturday, April 13, 2002, at
11:00 a.m. in Sauble Beach, Ontario. Further information will follow.

Death
Aunt Alma Neumann went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 27, at 7:30
a.m., at her residence, Tabor Manor, St. Catharines, Ontario. She was born
on April 16, 1918 in Nogath, Kr. Graudenz, West Prussia. Her husband Kurt
predeceased her in 1943, in Russia. She is survived by her daughters,
Monika Thiessen and husband Bill, of Kitchener, ON, and Ursula Blumentrath
of Edmonton, AB. Monika and Ursula were at their mother’s bedside when
she passed away.
She was a much-loved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great
grandmother and everybody’s beloved aunt and friend. She was the
youngest daughter of Gottlieb Fangrath and Augustine Groß and her home
going nearly completes the family circle re-assembling in heaven.
The funeral is expected to be on Monday or Tuesday, July 30 or
31, in Kitchener, ON., but these dates and all other arrangements are
pending at this time. We will e-mail you when further information becomes
available.

Deceased
We are saddened by the homegoing of Aunt Martha Starra, who went to be
with her Lord on June 12, 2001, in her 92nd year. She died in her sleep at
her residence in Elmira, Ontario. She was pre-deceased by her husband
Frank, in 1980, and her daughter Hildegard in 1994. She is survived by her
daughter Elsbeth Krauck and husband Helmut, and son Vern Starra and wife
Rita, of Kitchener, ON, and daughter Irene Huebner and husband Walter, of
Waterloo, ON., and son-in-law Dieter Uloth and wife Grace, of Stratford,
ON. She was loved and cherished as mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and
great-grandmother. She liked nothing better than to be in the middle of
her growing family, to which she was entirely devoted. The Fangrad family
extends its sympathy to the Starras, at this time of bereavement.

Michelle Fangrad, on April 25, 2001. Proud grandparents are Heinz and Emma
Fangrad.

Elizabeth Payne died in Port Coquitlam,
B.C.
Elizabeth passed away on March 24, 2001. at her
residence in Port Coquitlam, B.C. She was in her 42nd year and had
suffered from cancer. She was the daughter of Ola (U. Adolf) and Scott
Payne of Southampton, ON and the sister of Mark Payne and Mary Ellen Agner
of Midland, ON. She was predeceased by a brother, Gordon. A memorial
service was held on April 28th, 2001, at the Sauble Christian Fellowship
in Sauble Beach, ON. Elizabeth will be missed and our heartfelt sympathy
goes out to the family.

Uncle Willi died in St. Jacobs, Ontario
Uncle Willi passed away, peacefully, on Monday, January 15, 2001, at his
residence, Heritage House Nursing Home, St. Jacobs, Ontario. He was buried
at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener, ON. He was the husband of Aunt Elfriede
of Kitchener, father of Heinz Fangrad and Helga Krause of Kitchener, and Lothar
Fangrad of Waterloo, ON.
At nearly 97 years of age, he had lived through
almost the entire twentieth century. A man of integrity, peace and
purpose, the Fangrad family clan will miss his strong support and love.

We are saddened by the home going of Aunt Liesbeth (Gruber)
, wife of Uncle Otto Fangrad, who predeceased her in 1998. She died
Friday, December 22, 2000 at her residence in Komoka, Ontario, at the age
of 87. She is the mother of Hart Fangrad of London, Edelgard Nabrotzky of
Parry Sound and Gerda Igel of Sault Ste. Marie. We will miss her ready
smile and love for family and friends.

Alfred Nabrotzky died in Parry Sound, ON
We regret to inform you that Alfred Nabrotzky experienced a sudden,
massive stroke, on Friday, July 14, 2000 and died without regaining
consciousness, Sunday morning, July 16, 2000 in Parry Sound, Ontario.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 19,
2000 at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James St., Parry Sound, Ontario (The
funeral home's phone number is (705) 746-5855). Visitation is from 1 to 2
p.m. on the day of the funeral, only.

Bertold Igel died at his residence in Sault Ste. Marie,
Ont.
Surviving are his wife, Gerda (Fangrad), Uncle Otto's daughter, their daughter Ruth Igel,
at home, and sons David and Martin Igel of New Hamburg and Elmira, respectively. Our
thoughts and prayers are with the family.
